Position Title Admissions Telecounselor Student Status Work Study Optional –You are not required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Department/Employer Operating Hours 5-8 PM Monday through Thursday How many hours per week are required? 6-12 Description of Primary Duties Share your passion for Missouri State and the Missouri State experience! Make outbound recruitment calls and texts to prospective students and families using our admission CRM system (personal phones and phone numbers will not be used) On calling nights, attempt approximately 60 calls during each shift Use Slate CRM software to keep accurate call records (training provided) Follow up with students or families when additional information or assistance is needed Complete other duties as assigned Required Qualifications - Must be an undergraduate student enrolled full time at Missouri State with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5
- Must be available to work at least two shifts per week. Each shift is from 5 to 8 PM and the work location is the Office of Admission, Carrington Hall 204.
- Must be enthusiastic about Missouri State and interested in sharing that passion with prospective students
- Must have strong verbal communication skills and be comfortable on the phone
