What You’ll Do
Serve as the first point of contact for incoming patients and families, guiding them through the admissions journey with compassion, clarity, and professionalism.
Cultivate strong relationships with referral sources (hospital discharge planners, case managers, etc.) to support smooth transitions and grow census.
Coordinate pre-admission and admission processes with attention to accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Prepare rooms and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure readiness and excellence in first impressions.
Communicate with payers to verify coverage and secure authorization for services.
Maintain clear, professional communication with patients, families, and internal departments.
Monitor, track, and report on admissions data, trends, and service opportunities.
Champion our customer service culture and take ownership of service recovery initiatives.
What You NeedBachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Marketing, Business, or related field strongly preferred
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in post-acute admissions, marketing, or patient relations in a healthcare setting
Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid, insurance verification, and hospital discharge processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Confidence, professionalism, and strong emotional intelligence
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities with poise
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
