Reports to:  Director for Graduate, International and Online Admission

Appointment:  Full-Time (12 months)

Status:   Exempt

Position Overview:
Bradley University is seeking an enthusiastic and globally minded Admission Counselor to join our growing team in the Office of Graduate, International, and Online Admission. This position plays a vital role in the university’s strategic efforts to grow enrollment in graduate programs, expand our international student population, and increase access to Bradley’s online academic offerings.

Reporting to the Director for Graduate, International and Online Admission, the Admission Counselor will recruit, advise, and support prospective students through the admission process and represent Bradley University at events locally, nationally, and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

Actively recruit graduate students and both graduate and undergraduate international and online students through travel, virtual events, and one-on-one engagement.Represent Bradley at recruitment fairs, school visits, and conferences for graduate and undergraduate students both domestically and abroad.Coordinate up to 8 weeks of recruitment travel each year (including planning, logistics, and follow-up), domestically and/or internationally.Counsel and advise prospective students throughout the admission process, including application guidance, visa procedures, and program fit.Conduct virtual and in-person presentations and webinars to promote Bradley’s graduate and online offerings.Collaborate closely with faculty, academic departments, and campus partners to support prospective student engagement and conversion.Maintain accurate data and timely follow-up through the university’s CRM system (Slate).Assist in the development of marketing materials, recruitment plans, and communication flows for key populations.Stay informed on best practices in international education, graduate recruitment, and online learning trends.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCultural sensitivity and adaptability for international travel and engagementAbility and willingness to travel internationally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsValid passport and US driver’s license 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in admission, student recruitment, or higher educationFamiliarity with recruitment and admissions of international, online, or graduate students Experience with CRM systems (Slate preferred)Relevant multilingual abilities and/or previous international travel or study
