Pay Rate: $42.50 – $47.08 per hour
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Administrator Construction Manager to oversee Outside Plant (OSP) construction projects in the Monroe, NC area. In this role, you’ll ensure construction activities are completed to the highest quality standards, within budget, and on schedule. Your leadership will be critical in coordinating teams, managing contractors, and supporting digital infrastructure projects that enable stronger, more connected communities.
What You’ll DoOversee OSP construction activities performed by contractors, ensuring compliance with project design and specifications.
Manage permitting requirements, including Work Zone Protection (WZP) and Traffic Control Plans (TCP).
Coordinate with state and local municipalities, utilities, and cross-functional internal departments.
Conduct pre- and post-construction inspections to ensure standards are met.
Manage scheduling to meet project timelines and deliverables.
Oversee materials management and ensure accurate reporting of invoices, timesheets, and as-built documentation.
Monitor expenditures for budget compliance.
Investigate and report plant damages.
Attend and participate in pre-construction meetings.
Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, operations, and logistics teams.
Required QualificationsStrong knowledge of OSP construction standards, practices, and safety requirements.
Familiarity with OSP unit descriptions and SSP contracts.
Minimum of 5 years of combined OSP construction and splicing experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, with extended driving and moderate lifting as needed.
Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and periodic on-call shifts.
Willingness to travel overnight as required.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred QualificationsExperience managing large-scale OSP construction projects.
Strong record-keeping and reporting skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.

Pay Details: $42.50 to $47.08 per hour
