Yes County New York Street Address 199 Church Street City New York State NY Zip Code 10007 Duties Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Assist in tracking litigation matters and preparation of documents related to litigation matters• Track HR activities for the department, including new hires, separations, promotions, as well as assisting with the scheduling of interviews and processing of recruitment documents• File, field and route phone calls to appropriate staff, photocopy and scan documents, etc.• Submit and track purchase and travel requests for the department using Oracle Financial• File correspondence and general subject matters items• Prepare and set up meetings, manage outlooks calendars, manage correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents as needed• Maintain financial documentation pertaining to the Department End of Year Reports for Budget Department• Process legal bills approved by NYSIF attorneys• Work with Audit & Review department to generate weekly/monthly bill rejection reports• Other tasks may be assigned as needed Minimum Qualifications For Appointment to Administrative Specialist Trainee 1 (SG-14):•Reachable for appointment to Trainee 1 level on current Civil Service eligible list used for filling this title; OR•One year of permanent competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 or 70.1 of the Civil Service Law. Titles eligible for transfer to the Trainee 1 level include but are not limited to: Administrative Assistant 1, Office Assistant 3, Program Aide, Claims Services Representative Trainee 1; OR•A bachelor's or higher degree.Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in pre-law or criminal justice studies• Experience in Oracle FinancialPlease be advised that the New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) does not offer sponsorship for employment visas to employees or potential employees.
