**ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT PRN**
**Boise Regional Medical Center, Pathology Department**
**SUMMARY:**
Performs a variety of duties to support administration of the assigned department.
**HOURS:** This is a PRN position that will likely provide about 15 hours a week of opportunity. The hours would be 8-4:30 p.m.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ 2 years of relevant experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting.
+ Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO:**
+ Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls and handles general inquiries.
+ Schedules / coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements. Maintains assigned calendar(s).
+ Establishes and maintains filing systems. Orders and stocks supplies.
+ Assists with special projects and interdepartmental needs when appropriate. Experience with process improvement or lean philosophy preferred.
+ Must be able to work equally well independently and in a team environment.
