ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the RESOURCES MANAGEMENT BRANCH (RMB) ofMARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Responsibilities You will provide knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, policies and precedents which affect the use of program and related support resources pertaining to personnel management You will provide practical understanding of position management, special recruiting authorities, strategies, incentives, organizational design and position classification. You will provide knowledge of civilian personnel management policies, processes, and techniques sufficient to advise management and employees regarding rules, procedures, obligations, and entitlements. You will apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of civilian personnel program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel. You will conduct detailed analyses of complex civilian personnel functions and work processes. You will develop new or modified organizational work methods, processes, and/or procedures to improve organizational efficiency/productivity. You will establish effective working relationships, communicating with tact, creativity, and resourcefulness, both orally and in writing. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical assistance for a Civilian Personnel Program to include coordinating decisions involving position management, classification management, employee relations functions, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) issues. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting with providing support for a Civilian Personnel Program to include coordinating decisions involving position management, classification management, employee relations functions, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) issues.
