**Overview**
The **Administrative Services Coordinator II** will fulfill a critical role in the operations of the department. The incumbent will contribute to problem solving and recommending process improvement initiatives centered on the completion of administrative duties in the school setting. The Administrative Services Coordinator II will establish and maintain systems that ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of all student, financial, and personnel information accessible to this position. In addition, this individual will provide oversight of the school administrative office and reception area functions including direct supervision of the Administrative Services Coordinator I. This position will also provide administrative support to the Education Director and school administrators.
**Responsibilities**
1. Manage the procedures for collection and recording, daily, all information regarding student absences and tardiness. Communicate with families regarding student absences and maintain records of such contact.
2. Provide ongoing oversight of the administrative office and receptions desk functions and provide daily supervision to the Administrative Coordinator I.
3. Manage the day-to-day office operations in the absence of an Administrative Coordinator I of the school and provide administrative and clinical support. This includes, but not limited to, keeping accurate telephone messages and relaying the messages to the proper person, ordering and distributing supplies, coordinating reimbursements, maintaining staff work and break rooms, etc.
4. Serve as liaison to Kennedy Krieger School Programs business office for all Southern Maryland Campus (SMC) matters (i.e., tracking purchase orders, ordering office supplies, etc.). Assist the Director, Program Manager, and Teachers in department orientation for new employees (i.e., prepare New Employee Manual, conduct tour of workplace, provide training on phone, fax and copier, facilitate email and network access, create new employee file, create new employee mailbox).
5. Manage the procedures for completion and maintenance of the filing system for all fingerprint applications and clearance letters from CJIS. Notify supervisors of discrepancies/concerns with clearance letters. Track fingerprinting in the Power School database.
6. Oversee the maintenance of files on all Classroom Assistants to include transcripts, test scores, paraprofessional staff development plans and correspondence. Track information in the Power School database.
7. Manage the procedures for completion and dissemination of end of month local school system’s (LSS) attendance reports. Generate attendance letters to individual families whose students have had excessive absences and disseminate to all require parties (i.e. LSS, Social Worker and ACT office). Maintain record of all attendance information and correspondence generated.
8. Manage workflow systems supporting MSDE teacher and Social Worker certification files. Review to ensure all certifications are current and accurate. Maintain records in Power School.
9. Maintain licensure files for all related service personnel. Ensure that all licenses on file are current. Maintain records in Power School.
10. Provide administrative support to the Parent Association, as needed.
11. Complete MSDE spreadsheets as required.
12. Complete all duties related to Kronos payroll system.
**Qualifications**
**EDUCATION:**
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Associates degree preferred.
**EXPERIENCE:**
+ At least three (3) to four (4)years of previous administrative experience is required.

USD $45,176.35/Yr.
