Status: Full-Time Months Worked: 12 Month Job Summary: Provides administrative support services in a fast paced office environment including, but not limited to, acting as receptionist and first point of contact for guests, faculty, staff, & students to the assigned department; answering phone calls; organizing and distributing meeting documents, taking and transcribing meeting minutes, word processing and database maintenance, ordering supplies, and other administrative services to Dean/school administrator. Required Qualifications: 1. High School diploma or GED required.2. Two years of previous secretarial experience in an office environment required, or equivalency based on completion of specific commercial courses related to office and secretarial skills.3. Ability to perform transcription and word processing with efficiency and accuracy.4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.5. Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card. Preferred Qualifications: Hours Worked 8am-4pm
