Our client, a litigation consulting firm, is seeking a Temporary Administrative Services Assistant to support their NYC office. Hours are 9am - 6pm with flexibility for overtime as needed. In office 5 days/week. Up to $30.50/hr.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and process all catering ordersDaily invoice processing into the Chrome River applicationFront desk (reception) coverage (light phones, emails receiving visitors, confirming visitor spaces, recording/distributing incoming mail, prepping packages for mailings via FedEx/USPS)Meeting and event setup and resetsOccasional light pantry restocking of drinks/snacksUpdate relevant spreadsheets daily/weekly to maintain accurate recordsIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required and past experience in office services or facilities industry.
Requirements:
1+ years of experience directly related to general office, or facilities duties professional services experience preferred.Degree highly preferredThe desire to take initiative and actively contribute to the team and the firm.The ability to communicate effectively and professionally.Strong business acumen and the ability to learn the firm's financial and operational functions.The mindset to provide superior service.Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office required.
