This position supports and oversees our active volunteers (unpaid). You will work in the applicant pool, interview and onboard applicants. You will oversee their schedule and collaborate with internal areas to see where volunteer support is needed.  

 

A caregiver in this position works from 8:00am to 5:00pm.  

 
A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Renew applicants when they hit their annual mark. 

Report on hours and activities for volunteers. 

Lead or coordinate multiple projects and policy initiatives. 

Update, monitor and manage databases. 

Develop scorecards and milestones to track progress. Analyzes project improvement and progress. 

Report discrepancies and variances. 

Coordinate project prioritization and assist with policy and initiative implementation. 

Assist with scheduling, coordination, preparation and communication of meetings. 

Attend meetings and records key outcomes. 

Support all office administrative functions. 

Develop and maintain updates. 

Other duties as assigned. 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Associate’s degree 

Two years of administrative or project management experience 

OR High School diploma/GED and four years of experience 

OR Bachelor's degree and one year of experience 

 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field 

Knowledge of project management and communication practices 

Strong computer skills and experience with software applications 

Experience in a leadership or supervisory role 

Healthcare experience or related organization

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

In some locations, ability to lift up to 25 pounds
