Responsibilities:
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist with scheduling, meeting coordination, and taking/distributing minutes.
- Draft and format correspondence, reports, and internal communications.
- Track deadlines and deliverables for grants, awards, and programs.
- Make basic updates to the foundation website (e.g., posting news, updating event info).
- Assist with creation and scheduling of donor communications.
- Ensure that branding, formatting, and messaging are consistent across platforms.
- Draft and schedule social media posts across platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn,
Instagram, X).
- Support awareness campaigns, donor spotlights, program promotion, and event coverage
through engaging content.
- Monitor activity and engagement, flagging comments or messages that require response.
- Coordinate with leadership to maintain a consistent voice and mission-aligned
Messaging.
- Research grant opportunities that align with the foundation???s mission.
- Assist in the preparation, submission, and tracking of grant applications and reports.
- Maintain donor database; record contributions and generate acknowledgement letters.
- Support development efforts by preparing fundraising materials and donor stewardship
reports.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for scholarship, award, and recognition
programs.
- Maintain accurate records of application processes, selection criteria, and award
disbursements.
- Assist in event planning and program execution for ceremonies or special initiatives.
- Coordinate communications with award recipients and program participants.
Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

- Experience with conferences preferred but not required
- Professional and exceptional customer service

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications:
- Associate???s degree required; bachelor???s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of administrative, nonprofit, or communications experience, ideally in a foundation or development role.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with donor databases, website CMS
- Mailchimp, Hootsuite) is a plus.
- Experience with Social media posts and content creation (Canva)
- Experience with grants and donor management, fundraising tools, email platforms
- Logistical support.
- Event planning.
- Knowledge in Excel and Word required.
