The Louisiana Department of Insurance is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator 4to support key functions like property management, building maintenance, telecommunications, and vehicle coordination. In this role, you’ll work closely with various teams and vendors to ensure our facilities and resources are well-maintained, accurately tracked, and efficiently used. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: As an Administrative Coordinator 4, you’ll play a key role in keeping our office running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be responsible for: + Managing State Property and Inventory:Keep track of over 1,200 pieces of state-owned equipment and assets. You'll label, log, and monitor items using a specialized tracking system, conduct yearly inventories, and handle the disposal or surplus of unused items. + Overseeing Building Maintenance and Services: Make sure our office building stays clean, safe, and functional. You'll coordinate with janitorial teams and building staff, arrange special cleaning jobs when needed, and maintain essential equipment like refrigerators and ice machines. + Supporting Telecommunications: Help keep our phone systems running by coordinating with telecom providers to handle upgrades, repairs, and feature changes. Assist in resolving phone line or voicemail issues as they arise. + Coordinating State Vehicle Use: Manage scheduling for our department’s shared vehicle, monitor mileage usage, and submit reports and forms related to vehicle use and reimbursements. + Handling a Variety of Office Support Tasks: From creating office signs to assisting with special projects, you'll provide day-to-day support that helps our team stay productive and organized.
