The Division of Administration is the state government’s management arm and the hub of its financial operations. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: LPAA staff loads and unloads items if varying weights and dimensions into/from box trucks, enclosed tractor-trailers, and stake-bodies trailers. Much of the work is manual even though our employees use forklifts, dollies, and pallet jacks to assist their efforts. After unloading and tagging surplus property, warehouse staff arranges and displays property to sell to qualifying entities. Job Duties and Responsibilities: -Responsible for working with state agencies to receive surplus property into the warehouse. -Tags, marks, labels, and stores surplus property as appropriate. -Determines sale price of surplus property based on pricing guidelines and enters appropriate information in the warehouse bar code system. -Maintains surplus property inventory in an orderly manner by assisting proper location codes to incoming items. -Trains new employees on the bar code system. -Applicants must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
