Administrative Coordinator, Medical Insurance Claims
Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Administrative Assistant to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This Contract to permanent position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and expertise in managing administrative tasks within the insurance or medical claims sectors. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including drafting correspondence and preparing detailed reports. • Manage and follow up on insurance claims and benefits inquiries with accuracy and efficiency. • Utilize CRM systems and database-driven web applications to track and organize data. • Maintain and update digital files and custom fields within electronic medical records (EMR) systems. • Coordinate insurance-related processes, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of claims. • Create and analyze reports using Microsoft Excel to support decision-making processes. • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to address inquiries and resolve issues. • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation related to medical claims and insurance processes. • Assist in organizing and maintaining office procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative roles, preferably in medical claims or insurance fields. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems. • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and database-driven web applications. • Strong ability to draft detailed correspondence and comprehensive reports. • Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders. • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage complex administrative tasks. • Knowledge of insurance claims and benefits processes. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
