**Position Summary**
RSI is seeking a lead Administrative Assistant to support our Environmental Services Team on the United Cleanup Oak Ridge (UCOR) contract for the Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge Site. The Environmental Services Team handles the planning, collection and analysis of environmental data across the Oak Ridge Site while also managing the regulatory framework of site remediation. The successful candidate filling this administrative assistant role will provide onsite organizational support to a large team of technical field and office personnel by performing a variety of critical administrative tasks. The Environmental Services administrative assistant would work in close partnership with the Environmental Programs and Stewardship Executive Assistant.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Act as a central point of contact for communication and coordination of the Environmental Services team
+ Schedule appointments, meetings and travel arrangements for the Environmental Services leadership team (5-7 managers)
+ Perform office management tasks including ordering supplies, tracking equipment needs, placing orders for the field teams, ensuring the office runs smoothly
+ Onboard new team members by coordinating with IT and facilities to set up new office space, obtain access to file systems, ensure everything is in place for first day of work
+ Assist with the planning and coordination of events and meetings
+ Keep records and assist with tracking of contract deliverables to Department of Energy (DOE)
+ Utilize p-card system to purchase equipment needed for field operations
+ Serve as point of contact for DOE clients, regulatory agencies and other teams within UCOR and RSI
+ Assist the document production team with clearing materials, tracking signatures and drafting letters for the submittal of documents
**Required Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma/GED
+ Must have a Real ID/Passport to obtain a site badge
**Desired Qualifications**
+ Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Familiarity with office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
+ Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
+ Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining records and handling financial tasks.
+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle a variety of tasks.
+ Experience in DOE complex, specifically at the Oak Ridge Site is a plus.
