Work location: Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas - 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231
Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (onsite)

Here’s What You Need
+ High School Diploma or Equivalent required
+ 2 years of office or healthcare environment required
+ Experience supporting department Leaders preferred
+ Proven office software applications skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, People Soft, etc.) to support management and operations. Strong verbal, written communications and interpersonal skills. Basic Office Equipment usage and Word Processing; Spreadsheet Creation and familiarity w/Desktop Publishing. Good Leadership and Organization skills. Ability to give instructions and clearly explain problems or situations. Excellent telephone etiquette and creation of normal business correspondence - e.g. e-mail, business letters, memos, simple tables and charts. Mathematical skills required to collect, manipulate and perform analysis of financial or statistical data.
What You Will Do
+ Relieves management of daily operational problems by responding to mail or telephone inquiries or seeking the appropriate personnel for resolution. Builds relationships with vendors, customers or other internal departments in order to complete projects or obtain services. Performs simple research, data collection and/or data entry into databases e.g. time and labor. Responsible for data integrity of unit databases, reports or documents.
+ Creates routine draft or final written correspondence for management review. Uses advanced software applications e.g. spreadsheets, graphics, databases to collect, manipulate or report information for department projects, meetings or presentations. Participates in documentation development or information research. Responsible for entering information, articles, or reports into department or functional web sites. Responds to routine correspondence not requiring supervisors' attention.
+ Participates in functional, unit or project budgetary processes by assisting with data collection, reporting/tracking accounts payable/receivables, payroll and analyses. With management approval, has limited funds disbursement authority.
+ Responsible for researching department payroll issues, time and attendance tracking, equipment oversight, I/S or purchasing activities. Tracks completion schedule or communicate information/instructions for projects.
+ Responsible for events planning which involves facilities, personnel, travel itineraries, speakers, or scheduling department meetings. Participates in creating or packaging presentation documentation or materials for meetings, education in-service classes or marketing activities. Performs initial analysis of information for staff or management.
+ Performs in a work leadership role as part of a team project or as a lead person within the department or special committee(s).
