This role is located in our Ridgefield, CT office **Compensation Data** This position offers a base salary typically between $75,000 and $122,000. (https://www.boehringer-ingelheim.com/us/careers/benefits-rewards) **Duties & Responsibilities** + Utilize extensive knowledge to provide advanced administrative support to individuals within specified departments. + Tasks include generating reports, filing, managing administrative aspects of department processes, coordinating conference calls and meetings, arranging travel, managing records retention and file management, tracking purchase orders and department budgets, processing check requests and invoices, ordering and managing departmental supplies, reconciling expense reports, supporting training classes, and general staff support. + Organize and coordinate meetings and events (local, U.S., and international), including logistics, hotel arrangements, and other details for senior management. + Frequently interact with individuals outside the company and senior management within BI. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and team members to achieve departmental objectives, overcome barriers, provide ongoing feedback, and facilitate adjustments as directed by management. + Monitor progress against expectations and address performance gaps promptly. Demonstrate personal commitment to accomplishing departmental objectives and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement. + Apply comprehensive knowledge of Boehringer's mission, business processes, policies, and practices to develop advanced work results. + Conduct all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies and procedures. Maintain high ethical and professional standards with all business contacts and BI employees to uphold the company's excellent reputation within the medical and pharmaceutical community. **Requirements** + Business School certification, or Associates degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent work experience. + Minimum of eight to ten (8-10) years of administrative, customer service and/or relevant business experience. + Five-plus (5+) years of previous administrative experience. + Demonstrates acceptable level of performance for all Administrative Assistant V competencies as defined in the Career Pathway criteria. + Demonstrated expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), including MS Project required. + Demonstrated ability to take ownership and proactively identify business process improvements. + Experience supporting an Intellectual Property law practice with some knowledge of patent docketing software a plus. **Eligibility Requirements** : + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. + Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required). + Must be 18 years of age or older.
