Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a highly motivated administrative assistant to provide clerical and administrative in office support for the Water Business Lines in Denver, CO. The position will involve coordinating and supporting meetings and conferences, travel and expenses for travel teams, coordinating and tracking AECOM policy compliance, and providing general administrative support to water business line staff.
Job Summary / Responsibilities
Will work under general supervision of department and division managersAssists project and people managers on administrative tasks for various projects and overhead items.Coordinates and tracks program compliance for various AECOM policies.Prepares or proofs correspondence, forms, spreadsheets, or documents,Schedules and coordinates meetings and prepare agendas and meeting minutes.Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote), and other programs to accomplish work.Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for project teams and managers.Managing meeting schedules.Coordinate yearly conferences (including conference events) and sponsorships (planning and approvals).Coordinate travel for individuals and project teams.Create and submit expense reports for Water Business Unit staff.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
High School Diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and educationIn office 5 days a week and available during our core hoursPreferred Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor’s DegreeFamiliar with professional office environment, practices, and proceduresProficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote), and other programs to accomplish work.Should have a good command of their communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of attention to detail.Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain organization in a changing environmentExhibits initiative, responsibility and flexibilityResourceful, highly organized, and detail orientedAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesEffective time-management and interpersonal SkillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAdditional InformationAbout AECOM
