At Cleveland Clinic, everyone is a caregiver, including our essential administrative and non-clinical staff. All your efforts are crucial in helping us continue providing the exceptional care our patients and communities have come to expect. This role supports the Lerner School for Autism. It is a unique setting of a charter school within a top hospital. The ideal candidate will have prior administrative experience, preferably in a school or educational setting. They should possess strong multitasking abilities and demonstrate sound critical thinking skills to support day-to-day decision-making. To be successful in this role, candidates must be organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Clear communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also essential. 


A caregiver in this position works M-F, 7:30am – 4:00pm. 


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Manage student enrollment and work with families to assure paperwork is submitted and follows up with families as needed. 

Creates Onboard and training schedule for new caregivers. 

Administer calendar and schedule management. 

Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence (e.g., reports, forms, presentation materials, messages, etc.) as required. 

Provide coverage of other areas such as front end, point of service and registration. 

Coordinate management functions and assist in special projects. 


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

High School Diploma or GED 

Three years of office experience 

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) 


Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Associate’s Degree 

Typing proficiency of 35 wpm with accuracy

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

In some locations, ability to move up to 20 pounds
