As an Administrative Assistant II the Care Management department, you will perform a range of administrative duties in support of assigned healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include scheduling, managing telephone communications, welcoming patients and visitors and overseeing correspondence. Additionally, you will provide assistance with special projects and contribute to departmental operations and administrative management. Overall, this role helps provide support to both management and care management staff in making innovation and teamwork possible.
A caregiver in this role works days from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Manage, prioritize and send out multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively such as acting as a liaison between internal and external customers by greeting customers, answering and triage phone calls.Organize and create 6-week assignments.Schedule transport, handle the place and close process for the case managers and complete IMM letters.Administer calendar and schedule management.Compose and prepare a variety of correspondence (e.g., reports, forms, presentation materials, messages, etc.) as required.Provide coverage of other areas such as front end, point of service and registration.Coordinate management functions and assist in special projectsMinimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma or GED Three years of office experienceExperience using Microsoft Office Suite products (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
