COMPLIANCE ASSURANCE
This position is located in Jacksonville, FL
Position Overview and Responsibilities:
This is an administrative position reporting to the Assistant Director of District Management. This position is responsible for coordination of administrative functions in support of the Compliance Assistance program. Work involves assignments which are broad as to objective in content. This position requires a high degree of initiative and responsibility.
Oversees routine administrative matters within established policies for the Compliance Assistance program. Research, collects, and tabulates data as needed by the Assistant Director in developing staffing needs, professional development and work plan recommendations. Assists in summarizing the results and making recommendations. Reviews administrative information and recommends sources of action. Use computer for reports, memoranda, letters, and other documents. Assists in administrative activities by coordinating, tracking, and editing special projects.
+ Responsible for submitting weekly EOG Agency Reports.
+ Collaborate with the public for collection and process of specific information.
+ Manages all incoming, interoffice and electronic correspondence to the staff of the Compliance program. Collects information and tracks action items for the Assistant Director and Environmental Managers.
+ Organizes and maintains program files, including creating new files and archiving and retrieval of existing files for the program as necessary. Maintains and updates a variety of program logs, spreadsheets and databases as necessary for compliance tracking.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
+ Knowledge of office procedures and practices.
+ Knowledge of the methods of data collection.
+ Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data relating to administrative functions such as accounting, personnel, purchasing or report writing.
+ Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
+ Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.
+ Ability to work independently.
+ Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
+ Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
+ Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Valid Driver’s License
Position of Special Trust Requirement:
This position is designated as a Position of Special Trust in accordance with DEP Directive 422, Positions of Special Trust or Responsibility. Successful completion of background screening will be required for this position.
Pay:
$35,398.08 Annually
