STATUS:Non-Exempt (37.5 hours)
HOURLY RATE: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour

Lifespan offers guidance, education and more than 30 services ranging from health and wellness programs to caregiver support to adults 60 and beyond. Position Summary
The Development Associate plays a key role in supporting the organization’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts. This position is responsible for managing donor data and their contributions, ensuring accurate and timely communication such as thank you letters with supporters, and assisting the Director of Development with all fundraising campaigns and events. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of older adults and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
+ Maintain and update donor records using the CRM system DonorPerfect.
+ Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns, donor appeals, and special events.
+ Generate reports and analyze donor data to support strategic fundraising decisions.
+ Help coordinate donor communications.
+ Collaborate with program staff to gather stories and data for donor engagement.
+ Ensure data integrity and confidentiality in all donor-related activities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education:
· Associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) in Communications, English, Marketing or related field
Experience:
· Proficiency in data entry and computer literacy
· Skilled in Microsoft Office & Excel
· Experience in a donor database like Donor Perfect is a plus
· Two years of fundraising experience or equivalent
· Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
· Well organized with great attention to detail
· Ability to work at a desk/personal computer station.
· Ability to attend meetings and special events both in the office and off-site.
· Ability to maintain composure under strict deadlines.
· Ability to work effectively with others.
