We have an outstanding Contract position for an Administrative Assistant to join a leading Company located in the Winsted, CT surrounding area.
Pay Rate: $
Responsibilities:Provides standard administrative and staff support services to the Planning and/or sales department in a professional manner, maintaining confidentialityCompile and prepare PowerPoint presentation content for designated meetingsAttend meetings to set up and run the PowerPoint presentationManage schedule/calendar, independently schedule appointments and conference calls, and originate meeting invitationsCoordinate and arrange staff meetings, as well as other departmental and corporate meetings as necessaryPrepare agendas, secure facility/location, take minutes, and distribute as necessaryCompose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, documents, presentations, emails, and faxesMake copies of correspondence or other printed materials as necessaryUpdate and maintain key spreadsheets, contact lists, and various department reportsResearch and gather information from various internal/external sourcesReview, sort, and route incoming/outgoing mail, faxesPrepare expense reports and check requestsOrganize and maintain department filesMaintain and order supplies within budgetary and departmental guidelinesPerform special projects as requested Basic Hiring Criteria:Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical schoolMinimum 6 years related experience and/or training
Desired Qualifications:Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to learn other software programs as requiredBackground in the executive secretarial area and/or office managementStrong time management and communication skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
