Job Description
The Administrative Assistant supports the Human Resources department in various disciplines and performs general and front office administrative duties. This role involves operating the main phone system to manage incoming calls, directing callers to appropriate personnel, and greeting visitors. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant maintains office supplies and supports HR with administrative tasks and projects.
ResponsibilitiesOperate the main phone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers appropriately.Greet and direct on-site visitors to the appropriate personnel.Maintain and order office supplies on a weekly basis.Perform opening and closing procedures between 8 AM and 5 PM.Support the Human Resources Department with administrative tasks and projects.Maintain the HRIS with personnel filing and document management.Administer the New Hire Survey and report feedback to HR Management.Create and maintain company organization charts.Manage company engagement initiatives, including company birthdays and anniversaries awards.Update HR internal communication boards and websites.Compile Leave of Absence documentation, track leaves and paperwork, and complete related correspondence.Complete company benefit-related billing and support the Open Enrollment process.Maintain the Safety Boot/Glasses program and verify and approve invoices.Assist with benefits and wellness fairs, including flu shot clinics.Support New Hire benefit tracking and enrollments and assist with various benefit-related tasks.Essential SkillsAdministrative supportData entryFront desk operationsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)2+ years of experience in an administrative assistant or HR assistant capacityAdditional Skills & QualificationsHigh attention to detailProficiency in Google SuiteAssociates Degree or higher highly preferredWork Environment
The work environment is dynamic, with a quick start opportunity working through mid-January. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
