Description A respectable and fun law firm in Downtown Dallas is searching for a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support a Federal Judge based in Dallas, Texas. This role requires someone with strong administrative capabilities, excellent communication skills, and ideally, familiarity with legal processes and documentation. The successful candidate will manage scheduling, coordinate travel, and handle various administrative tasks with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities: • Maintain and organize the Judge’s complex calendar, scheduling appointments and resolving conflicts as needed. • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently. • Prepare and proofread documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with accuracy and attention to detail. • Manage files for community work, speeches, personal payments, and donations for tax purposes. • Write checks, handle address lists for special events, and oversee financial records. • Conduct research and gather documentation to prepare the Judge for presentations and conferences. • Support the Judge by collecting and analyzing relevant information in advance of engagements. • Assist with creating and formatting Word, Excel, and PowerPoint materials for reports, presentations and special projects. • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and demonstrate sound judgment in all interactions. • Follow up on tasks and ensure deadlines are met, displaying exceptional organizational One more step is all it takes to cross the finish line!
