This role is designed to provide temporary support to an engineering organization, assisting a General Manager and collaborating with the Executive Assistant for a Vice President. The administrative assistant will be integral in ensuring smooth operations, onboarding, and event coordination for the engineering group. This is a six-month contract opportunity, offering exposure to both team and executive support in a dynamic environment.
ResponsibilitiesOrder equipment for new hires and interns.Plan and execute on-site events for the team.Manage the rhythm of business (ROB) calendar and support ad hoc project work.Handle equipment purchasing, PO/invoice management, and event planning.Maintain the organization-wide calendar to ensure team alignment.Essential SkillsPurchasing/PO Invoice Management: 2-4 years of experience with abilities to open POs, manage purchasing, and resolve invoice issues.Project/Event Management: 2-4 years of experience in planning events and handling ad hoc projects.Organizational/Calendar Management: 2-4 years of experience in managing ROB calendars and keeping the team on track.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in fast-paced tech or large corporate environments.Strong follow-through and a track record of longer-term assignments.Positive feedback from supported leaders.Timely completion of onboarding tasks.Accurate budget tracking and effective event execution.Work Environment
The position offers a hybrid work environment with the requirement to be onsite in Redmond for two days a week and remote work for three days a week. The role requires standard equipment, including two monitors for home use, and operates Monday through Friday with a 40-hour work week, with no overtime expected.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.00/hr.
