The National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) and NSF sponsored EAGER Project in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School, Department of Physics and Astronomy is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant. This position will provide administrative support for the EAGER faculty and for associated activities such as events, external visitors, and research studies. The assistant will be supporting Professor Frolov in coordinating research activities between the three countries which includes exchange of visitors, organization of on-line meetings, facilitation of an in-person conference, as well as exchange of samples and equipment. The aim of the collaboration is to expand the scope of activities over time, with the current EAGER project serving as seed funding to demonstrate the potential of this project, and future support from NASEM and NSF being negotiated. The position is expected to extend for a period of two years.

The successful candidate will use a computer extensively. They must be capable of oral, written, and electronic communications. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. In addition to a computer, they must be able to use a telephone and other general office equipment including but not limited to fax machines, photocopiers, scanners, printers, etc.
