**41483BR** **Extended Job Title:** Administrative Assistant **Position Description:** Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. **Requisition ID:** 41483BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Provide high-level administrative support to the Associate Vice Provosts of Outreach and Engagement (AVPs) and Directors, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing documents. + Coordinate and book travel arrangements for AVPs and Directors, including transportation, accommodations, and itineraries. + Perform routine administrative duties such as data entry, filing, responding to emails, and handling phone inquiries. + Assist in the development and preparation of materials for programs, workshops, presentations, and events. + Attend departmental meetings and events to support technology setup and troubleshooting; record and distribute meeting minutes as needed. + Coordinate events and programs logistics in collaboration with the Program Manager of Outreach and Engagement. + Assist with office supplies and equipment, initiate purchase requests and monitor inventory levels. + Assist with processing expense reports and invoices. + Support special projects and other duties as assigned. **Grant Funded?:** No **Minimum Hire Rate:** 16.43 **Pay Basis:** Hourly **Schedule Details:** Monday-Friday 8-5. **Work Location:** Lubbock **Preferred Qualifications:** + Administrative experience at TTU + Experience working in higher education + Demonstrated skills in multitasking and organization + Proficient with Microsoft Office **Department:** University Outreach and Engagement **Job Type:** Full Time **Job Group:** Executive and Admin Assistants **Shift:** Day **Required Qualifications:** Completion of high school or the equivalent.
