Administrative Assistant
Description Are you a proactive and detail-oriented professional who enjoys being the backbone of a team? Our client is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide critical support to their department by handling administrative and organizational tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating smooth workflows. Key Responsibilities: + Perform general administrative tasks such as preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and managing calendars. + Organize and prioritize activities to meet deadlines efficiently. + Act as a point of contact for internal and external communications, managing inquiries professionally. + Coordinate travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and preparing detailed itineraries. + Maintain electronic and physical filing systems to ensure accessibility and organization of documentation. + Create and edit reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as needed. + Assist with event planning and team coordination efforts. + Take initiative to identify areas for improvement in administrative processes and implement solutions. Requirements + 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a corporate, nonprofit, or professional services environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with Google Workspace tools is a plus. + Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities effectively. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + High level of professionalism and attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive information. + Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player. + High school diploma required; an associate or bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
