Position Summary
Austin, Texas, Hybrid
The position is responsible for providing administrative and projects support to different departments under Thales CDI in Austin, TX. This includes but not limited to project coordination, calendar and meeting management, travel arrangements, expense reports, creating and tracking purchase orders.
As an administrative assistant, the ability to work on multiple, diverse projects and tasks. The role requires working both independently, collaboratively & effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Administrative support including calendaring and meeting arrangements, travel coordination, data processing, expense report, meeting management and ordering catering for meetings as requested.
Support the Social committee helping with the organization of office events, keep the calendar and office announcements up to date.
Create & track purchase requisitions using Oracle iExpense.
Backup the front office receptionist when needed: Greet, register visitors, issue and track visitor badges.
Assist with the coordination and execution of special projects and initiatives assigned by the Chief of Staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree; or equivalent work experience.
1 to 3+ years of experience in an admin/receptionist role in a business environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent organizations skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience using Oracle.
Previous experience making travel arrangements.
Physical Demands
Prolonged periods of working on a computer and sitting at a desk.
Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds at a time.
Special Position Requirements
Schedule: 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday

Total Target Cash (TTC): 43,950.00 - 62,622.00 - 82,494.00 USD AnnualThis reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including – but not limited to – the employee’s career path history, competencies, skills and performance, as well as the company’s annual salary budget, the customer’s program requirements, and the company’s internal equity.
