Administrative Assistant
Administrative Assistant Transdev is seeking an Administrative Assistant who is a valued member of the team and provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role involves a variety of tasks including managing schedules, handling correspondence, organizing files, and assisting with special projects. The above represents the standard Corporate Policy KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: + Ensure all required RTC reporting is complete and on-time. + Liaise with other administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers, Transdev corporate, and RTC. + Greet visitors to the facility offices or by phone (direct calls) + Organize and schedule appointments. + Plan meetings and take detailed notes. + Develop and maintain a filing system. + Manage other duties to support the operation such as ordering office supplies. Qualifications: + Proficiency using MS Office products including MS Excel and MS Word and Windows based programs. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Proficient with basic math skills. + Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast paced/high energy environment. + Must be able to drive company or personal vehicle to review driver performance, meet clients, and for other company related purposes. + Must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone. + Exceptional customer service, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking abilities. Work Environment: * This position requires working in an office setting as well as in the field to monitor and support bus operations. * Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required. * May require responding to emergencies or service disruptions outside of regular business hours. Physical Requirements: The essential functions of this position require the ability to: * Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions * Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces * Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level * Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise •Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedule as needed. •The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen. •Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
