Job Summary:
SUNY Upstate is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Administrative Assistant to join the Healthcare Technology Management Team providing administrative support to the Information Management & Technology Division.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
+ Answering telephones, transferring calls and taking messages as appropriate.
+ Meeting and greeting clients and visitors,
+ Creating and modifying documents using Microsoft Office,
+ Coordinating and scheduling meetings for small and large groups, attending meetings to document meeting minutes, and distributing meeting agendas and minutes as needed.
+ Assist with project-based work, prepare travel arrangements for department and vendors,
+ Assist with office supply ordering as necessary, ensuring supplies are stocked,
+ Coordinate office set up and orientation for new employees,
+ Work collaboratively with other IMT administrative assistants to cover and support the IMT Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in related field and a minimum of three years relevant administrative assistance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Proficient in Excel and, preferably, the Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and computer skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Information Technology preferred.
Work Days:
Monday - Friday, Day Shift
