This role provides vital clerical and administrative support to assist in the daily operations of the department. Minimum Qualifications One year of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Being the first face or voice that the visitors to LSUS meet or speak to who in turn provides them with direction, advise, or pertinent information that they seek. Answer and transfer calls from the switchboard, change switchboard messages for Holiday closures, weather closures, or other events as needed. Check messages daily and reply with call back or relay message to the appropriate department for response. + Perform clerical duties and support as needed for officers in the University Center Police Department Office. + Ensure safe recovery and return of lost belongings by maintaining the Lost and Found for the University. + Assist with Daily Activity Reports, Authorized Drivers Program, and inventory. + Update the LSUS Directory as needed.
