Yes County Albany Street Address NYS Office of Mental Health 44 Holland Avenue City Albany State NY Zip Code 12229 Duties Description The New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) is recruiting to fill an Administrative Assistant 1, Grade 11, position assigned to Division of State-Operated Children’s and Adult Services located in Albany. Assigned to the Sustained Engagement Unit, the selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties that provide the appropriate level of day-to-day administrative support necessary to efficiently and effectively manage the unit. Specific duties to be performed include, but are not limited to, the following:• Run and maintain recurring program reports related to service engagement and follow-up.• Complete audits related for service utilization and referral accuracy. • Regularly back up and organize data across shared tracking systems.• Complete client database checks.• Provide scheduling for team meetings and Case Conferences.• Assist with onboarding and offboarding of staff, including database and RHIO access, equipment and access setup.• Process routine program invoices and RFPs.• Maintain calendars, shared documents, and supply inventory.• Contribute to internal workgroups or projects. Minimum Qualifications Non-Competitive Appointment:Candidates must have two years of experience in administrative support, which includes use of office software (e.g., email, word processing), provision of customer service, business writing, and/or office administration. Transfer:Candidates must have permanent status as an Administrative Assistant 1, Grade 11, and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
