We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support to a Director and their Software Engineering Team. This individual will support the team’s day-to-day needs, manage a director’s calendar, space and conference rooms, as well as organize a variety of events throughout the year. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams across various regions and geographies. If you are self-motivated, team oriented and maintain a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail, this job may be for you.
**Description**
You will provide administrative and calendar support to a director and their software engineering team The candidate will represent Apple in high-level contacts both internally and externally requiring significant level of tact, discretion, and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to multitask while working in an innovative, change-oriented environment. You will also plan and support multiple team events throughout the year, helping the team connect. This position requires someone who enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and projects a positive demeanor.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 5+ years experience in a corporate environment supporting leaders (daily schedules, travel, task management, facilities, teleconferencing, purchasing and day to day operations of their team).
+ Experience managing complex calendars, and scheduling key meetings.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable communicating with senior executives and their teams.
+ Experience planning, managing, and executing events.
+ Able to push a hand car and lift up to 15-20 lbs
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ AA or BA/BS degree
+ Proficiency with iCal, Keynote, Mail and other OS X based office systems a plus.
+ Direct experience handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity, discretion and utmost confidentiality
+ Proven track record of meeting deadlines, attention to detail, and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions.
+ Highly motivated and enjoys fast paced environment; ability to switch gears quickly.
+ Ability to handle conflict appropriately, knowing when to delegate issues upward and when to apply common sense.
**Pay & Benefits**
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $35.98 and $63.96/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
