Your Role:

EMD Electronics in Fremont, CA is seeking an Administrative Assistant. As a Site Administrative Assistant, you will assist many department leaders. You will be the main point of contact for visitors to the facility and will assist in booking rooms and arranging for lunch/dinner as necessary. This role will give you the opportunity to learn new skills and systems.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and send frequent e-mail communications to the siteOrganize department/site events of up to 30+  peopleManage office supplies for the multiple departments on site and help outfit new employees with necessary suppliesSupport several departments in their miscellaneous purchasing requirements, receive invoices and submit reports on expendituresHelp design and generate PowerPoint slides for executives, site-wide presentations, and for promoting site achievements for distribution company-wide

 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)3+ years of administrative experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with planning events for large groupsExperience with travel planning – overseas and domesticAbility to learn new skills and systems, flexibility, and the ability to prioritize daily and weekly activitiesExcellent communication skills; both verbal and writtenExcellent organizational and time management skills

 

Pay Range for this position - $33-$51/hour

Our ranges are derived from several sources, and largely reliant on relevant industry market data.
