The Role: 

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support our executives at Netflix in Toronto.

A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities. They will need to have a strong emphasis on organization and unwavering attention to detail at all times.  This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and communication.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage very high-volume calendars for 2-3 Content executives and schedule internal and external meetings across multiple time zones

Manage project calendars and key dates including scheduling and coordinating internal show meetings and other regular cross-functional meetings as needed

Maintain and track projects and their statuses throughout the development and production process utilizing internal tools and databases

Handle general administrative duties such as coordinating travel arrangements (domestic and international), data entry, and submitting expense reports

Liaise with production partners to ensure they are trained on internal tools and workflows

Support team leaders & coordinators with ad hoc projects

Display professionalism in communication with internal and external partners

Qualifications:

4+ years as an executive/administrative assistant, preferably in Media / Film & Television industries

Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task

Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information

Team-player who operates in a fast-paced team-oriented setting

Ability to work unsupervised, exercising initiative and assessing priorities but referring issues upwards where appropriate

Strong proficiency in Slack and Google: Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs & Drives
