Administrative/Accounting Assistant
Description We are looking for a skilled Administrative & Accounting Assistant to join our team in Portland, Oregon. This is a Contract-to-hire position requiring expertise in accounting and administrative tasks to support day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and experience working with QuickBooks, as well as the ability to handle various clerical and payroll responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable. • Assist with payroll data entry. • Handle administrative duties related to accounting, such as filing and record-keeping. • Collaborate with team members to address accounting discrepancies and resolve issues. • Assist with onboarding new employees. • Work onsite in a collaborative environment that includes pets. • Adapt to evolving tasks and priorities to meet organizational needs. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of administrative and accounting experience. • Familiarity with payroll procedures and administrative tasks. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work onsite in Portland, Oregon.
