About the Role

As the Administration Officer - Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager of Community Aged Care (CAC) and the wider team. You will ensure that financial administrative tasks are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in line with legislative and organisational requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial and administrative records, including compliance documentation, purchase orders, and invoices.

Key Role Accountabilities:

Receive and respond to queries from a broad range of internal and external stakeholders/clients in a timely and accurate manner.Accurate and timely composition and delivery of business correspondence, reports, presentations and other types of documentation.Provide support to Community Aged Care team to ensue data integrity and adherence to legislative compliance requirements through regular data checks, data cleansing and data process reviews.Establish and maintain effective systems to ensure ready access to, and appropriate distribution of internal and external communication.Perform finance duties such as management of compliance documentation, coding of invoices/purchase orders and other relevant administrative duties as required.Collaborate with the team on existing and new contract arrangements for Community Aged Care, in accordance with established business processes to ensure compliance requirements are met.In collaboration with the Care Partners, ensure that timely and accurate financial updates are made to client budgets.Reconcile and submit all claims with Services Australia and ensure accurate billing of co contributions under Community Aged Care in line with business processes.Validate service delivery in the Client management system to align with the financial management system.Ensure Client budget statements are accurate and distributed in line with Legislated time frames and provide input into business improvements, streamlining, automation opportunities and support continuous improvement efforts and advocating change.

About You

Business related qualification or relevant extensive experience providing quality and efficient supportDemonstrated professional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and dealing courteously with people at all levels.Strong organisational abilities, including demonstrated initiative, effective time management and ability to work autonomously, prioritise and manage competing deadlines in a busy office environment.Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite of applications especially in the preparation of reports, presentations and correspondence.Demonstrated experience undertaking research and reporting on a broad range of topics.Experience undertaking financial duties as well as accurate maintenance of effective filing systems and other administrative processes.Experience in working in client management system and/or financial systems.
