Job Description

Position: Full-time temporary Admin Officer

Location: Leyland

Contract: until June 2026

Working Hours: 37 per week Mon-Fri

Pay rate: £12.36 per hour

Brook Street have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Admin Officer to join our public sector client based in Leyland. This is a temporary assignment which will run until June 2026 with a view to extend beyond this date. The successful applicant will provide administrative support to managers and frontline staff by undertaking transactional work in a particular area.

Job description:

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

Organise, produce and maintain accurate recordsAct as contact point for all communications to the teamPrioritise and distribute communications to the appropriate person or relevant department in establishmentInput requisitions on to the finance database and process requisitionsCorrespond with relevant stakeholders and agencies to ensure that they are aware of information so that information is adequately sharedMaintain and check establishment databases, manual filing systems and logs of information, responding within agreed timescales and producing reports as requiredCollate information relating to relevant Service Delivery Indicators (SDIs)Act as secretary to meetings as required including organising agenda, taking, distributing minutes and action points.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalExperience of Microsoft Office PackagesAble to prioritise workloads
