About Shriver Job Corps Center 

The Shriver Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Advanced Computer Systems Administration, Advanced Transportation Service Worker, Various Computer Services, Carpentry, Automotive Maintenance, Millwright Welding, Office Administration and Security & Protective Services. 

Our 21-acre campus is nestled away minutes off of RTE 2, and 2A on Jackson Road in Devens MA. We service between 200 and 300 dorm students ages 16 to 24 years old at any given time with rolling admissions weekly. Our staff value the student experience and often cite the personal impact of what we do as a major factor of employment satisfaction. In addition, we have amenities that are open for staff to utilize such as a gym, basketball courts, full service cafeteria and more.

Position Summary:

Responsible to supervise and oversee the Finance, Food Service, IT, Maintenance, Property, Purchasing, Student Records and Wellness departments/functions. Ensures all areas of oversight are compliant with DOL/Company policy to ensure effective and cost-saving budget/resource management and accountability of Center assets and funds. Serves as Center’s lead integrity officer responsible to audit and ensure programmatic compliance with DOL/Company policy. Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information

Leadership Excellence:

Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of administrative professionals to foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Drive organizational success by setting clear goals, establishing priorities, and executing strategic initiatives that align with the mission of Shriver Job Corps.

Operational Efficiency:

Oversee and optimize administrative processes to ensure the seamless functioning of the center, including but not limited to, human resources, finance, procurement, and facilities management. Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and resource utilization, maintaining a focus on continuous improvement.

Strategic Planning:

Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute strategic plans that align with the organization's mission and objectives. Identify opportunities for growth and innovation, contributing to the long-term success and sustainability of Shriver Job Corps.

Compliance and Accountability:

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, fostering a culture of accountability and integrity. Implement and monitor systems to assess and improve program effectiveness, maintaining a commitment to excellence in all aspects of our operations.

Community Engagement:

Build strong partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and government agencies to enhance opportunities for student success and placement. Represent Shriver Job Corps positively in the community, advocating for the importance of vocational education and workforce development.
