Platform Administrador- VMWare

SoftwareOne

Full-time |  Mexico City | Hybrid

 

We are looking for a highly skilled Virtualization Systems Administrator with experience in managing and supporting virtualization environments. This professional will be responsible for maintaining virtual infrastructure, supporting Windows Server environments, and contributing to automation initiatives within the IT infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.

Manage and support Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.

Monitor and troubleshoot network and storage systems (RAID, network protocols).

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of routine tasks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.

Participate in infrastructure improvement initiatives and disaster recovery planning.

What we need to see from you

Studies in Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.Hands-on experience in virtualization platform administration.Strong technical knowledge in:

VMware and/or Hyper-V

Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP)

Networking and storage (RAID, protocols)

PowerShell scripting for automation

Desirable Skills

Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).

Understanding of disaster recovery planning (DRP).

Broader scripting or automation experience for operational efficiency.

Fluency in EnglishSoft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proactive and capable of working independently.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
