Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to join a manufacturing company based in Orange, California. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will support the recruiting and onboarding team, playing a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient human resources processes. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and eager to contribute to a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and approve background checks for new employees, ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Monitor and follow up on new employee clinic results, ensuring candidates are eligible for employment.
• Provide support to managers by addressing inquiries related to recruiting and onboarding systems.
• Train newly appointed managers on recruitment and onboarding procedures to ensure seamless integration.
• Track the status of onboarding candidates, ensuring timely progression into payroll systems.
• Assist with scheduling and facilitating new employee orientations to familiarize employees with company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Utilize Office tools such as Word and Excel to create reports and manage data efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to improve HR workflows and address operational challenges. Requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with managers and new hires.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with onboarding and recruitment processes is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desired
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation.
• Entry-level experience, with a willingness to learn and grow in HR practices.
