Position TypeFaculty Work Hours/Week Description of Work Unit The Department of Finance and Real Estate is one of five departments in the College of Business. The Department has a strong record of research accomplishments and provides excellent research support, with subscriptions to most common databases. The Department offers a Master of Finance, and undergraduate concentrations in finance, financial planning, and real estate, and participates in the other programs of the College. The Department currently has 13 tenure-track and 6 non-tenure track faculty. The Department serves the more than 700 undergraduate students in finance, financial planning, and real estate. The teaching load and course assignments are made by the Department Chair. Instructors may be hired for fall, spring, or summer term in a given academic year. Applications will be accepted throughout the calendar year. Hiring decisions are normally made during late spring and throughout the summer for fall semester, during fall semester for spring semester, and during spring semester for the summer term. The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; the College of Business will not provide visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future.
