Role Summary/Purpose:
Leads the execution & change of manufacturing processes while supporting production.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, cost of quality (COQ), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) actions.Participate & Drive LEAN initiatives for process improvements.Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and product cycles.Perform CNC programming as required to new and existing machining processesDesign necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing and for process improvements.Manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control and EHS compliance.Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed.Act as change agent, understanding and moving the operation toward world-class performance.Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships.Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area.Qualifications/Requirements:
BS/AS Degree in Engineering or Technology Field or equivalent experienceAt least 2 years experience in a manufacturing support roleDesired Characteristics:
