Position reports to Dearborn, MI office. Telecommuting permitted in accordance with company policy, but must live within commuting distance of stated office. Perform root-case analysis with internal functions and suppliers to ensure vehicle system achieves ADAS feature requirements. Collaborate with a variety of cross-functional teams from early prototype builds through the vehicle launch in modules including IPMA, BCM, ABS, APIM, IPC, etc. on all programs. Write scripts to update ADAS ECU and configurations specific to the software train. Support internal customers as well as dealerships to resolve ADAS system issues. Develop and design processes to ensure proper ADAS feature performance. Understand and manage software complexity across the vehicle system. Communicate with electrical systems and program team to identify configuration issues. Triage issues from HiL, bread board, VoCF, plant, etc. and consult teams through resolution. Support assembly plants to resolve EOL issues and provide diagnostic support. **You'll have...** A bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 1 year of experience in the position offered or 1 year of experience using CAN tools to collect and diagnose vehicle communication data between different electronic modules. Also requires 1 year of experience: performing system resolution with cross-functional teams in the Automotive industry; working with ADAS systems or features design and development; using automotive OBD2 functions and tools for diagnostics and flashing software, including DET, CANoe, CANanalyzer, and CANape; performing System Engineering; and writing script using Python, C, or C++. We are offering a salary of $85,590.08 - $175,321.68/yr.
