Job Description

Software Developer / Integrator in Safety and Motion, Safety and Sensorics, Airbag Control Units Korea

 

Mission:

The Software Developer designs, implements, develops source code and tests the modules within a software project.

The Software Integrator takes care of the integration of the software components and the related integration tests (specification and conduct). This also includes the build process according to the integration approach as defined in the Software Test Plan and the Software Integration Test Specification.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Detailed design and development of specific software components in accordance to the applicable development processSpecification of the integration approach (steps and content) for software componentsProvide timely feedback on progress, success or failure of the software integrationMeasure and communicate resource consumption after integrationPerform the software integration steps and create baselinesContribute to the design and execution of software integration testsDeliver the committed work package within the planned time, effort and qualityCollaborate with the other engineering disciplines locally but also across multiple development locations to achieve the goals of the teamContribute to development process and methods improvement initiatives

Qualifications

]Qualifications & skills:

Academic degree in engineering≥ 2 years of experience on software development for embedded systems preferredExperience of safety and time critical embedded systemsGood knowledge of runtime-performance, resource-consumption, and inter-task synchronization mechanismsGood knowledge of the software development processGood knowledge of the software architectureBasic knowledge and practice of Problem Resolution and Change ManagementGood communication skills in English (required)Good communication skills in Korean (preferred)Ownership, accountability, reliability and resilience
