Actuarial (Senior) Analyst (UK Reserving)

What will you be doing?

Validating monthly claims movements in the accounts 

Raising journal adjustments when required 

Drafting governance reports and attending review meetings 

Preparing quarterly disclosure submissions to Aviva Group 

Documenting existing processes and assisting in automating/process improvement where possible 

Liaise with other teams in Finance to problem solve issues as they arise

What we’re looking for?

Degree in mathematics, computer science or other quantitative area 

Strong analytical skills 

Understanding of non-life reserving would be plus but is not mandatory 

Very good knowledge of MS Office 

Exposure to R and/or Python coding would be a plus but is not mandatory 

Fluent command of English
