About the Role

AIA is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Actuarial - IFRS 17 Senior Manager to lead IFRS 17 reporting initiatives within our insurance business. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting and IT, to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, insightful analysis, and successful implementation of IFRS 17 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with the IFRS 17 accounting and IT team to manage the reporting process and produce the financial and management information reports.Perform analysis of the IFRS 17 results and bridging the results against planning / forecast to ensure the reasonableness of the numbers.Perform analysis of key trends and potential improvement to enable management to take actions.Review and ensure the readiness of the control and documentation related to the reporting deliverables and prophet model changes are in place for audit purpose.Support the change management activities (training and communication) for the successful transition to new IFRS 17 reportingEnsure all deliverables are delivered in timely manner and accurately

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of relevant experienceBackground in life insurance is essentialActive participant in local or international actuarial examsProficiency in actuarial software, particularly Prophet, is preferredStrong command of English with excellent presentation skills
